Resumo
This thesis aims to understand the way society connects network, and thus produces
knowledge exchanges with each other, including the Amazon, State primarily known for his
forests and rivers, and from these exchanges, has the ability to create relationships and
establish proximity networks. Understand how new perspectives and possibilities in times of
globalization generate the sharing of knowledge flows, including those focused on
environmental area. In this thesis we will see how the Amazon have the ability to potentially
be a state connected by communication technology, housing a network of environmental
knowledge through the Secretariat of State of Education initiative to take formal education to
more than 2,000 state communities. Connected communities have access to the internet and
are thus in a setting conducive to the formation of an environmental knowledge network and
interact, create networks that create the Amazon a collaborative unit of interaction that
strengthens ties, practices and maintenance of beliefs and identities. The guiding thesis is to
that network platform that connects the Amazon communities in the education scenario favors
the formation of networks of environmental knowledge and proximity networks, that is,
information-sharing networks and knowledge of environmental issues and networks that are
established direct relations contact, favoring the production of knowledge and the
construction of an integrated unit.
