Transformações pelo basesé nas práticas tukano sobre concepção, gestação e nascimento da criança

Resumo

The ethnographic research shows the processes of transformation basead on the tukano practices on conception, pregnancy and child birth. For collaborators of this research, conception, pregnancy and birth of the child must be successful, through the use of basese. The basic set activated by kumú provides a good pregnancy without complications and, thus, the child grows healthy in the mother’s womb. The basese, fast and diets are essential elements for the well-being of the child’s parents. In this sense, it requires that the importance of care for the child’s mother. The basese transforms the indigenous tukano child for a good construction of the person for their respective group; from the region, for other rivers or from other river headwaters (wind paths), by metaphysical thinking, the founder unites and forms the vital forces for a good colletive coexistence in a sociological and cosmopolitical perspective, that is, local custom of the Upper Rio Negro, Amazon Northwest, State of Amazonas.
