Resumo
This research aims to explain the philosophical conception of the Curriculum Proposal of the High School of Philosophy of the State of Amazonas (PCAM-Filo) in order to evaluate its constitution and effectiveness in the formation of its students.
Specifically, the objectives adopted are: to demonstrate that the curriculum is a state control tool, inserted in the political and educational contexts; critically examine the relationship between PCAM-Philosophy and the official curriculum guidance documents that underpin it, regarding their conceptions and objectives; to diagnose the main difficulties reported by teachers of Philosophy of Manaus - AM, in relation to the use of PCAM-Philosophy in school reality, by applying a questionnaire. The first part of the research consists of bibliographic and documentary research where it will be used as the main work: Watch and Punish: Birth of Prison (1975), by Michel Foucault, in addition to the curriculum proposal and the curriculum guidance documents that supported it. The second part of the study is characterized by field research with philosophy teachers who work in high school by the State Department and Education and Quality of Education (Seduc-AM), in the municipality of Manaus-AM. At the end, the result of the field research will be confronted with the analysis of the curriculum proposal.
