A linguagem oral e escrita na pré-escola: contribuições das narrativas com lendas amazônicas

Abstract

This work proposes a reflection on the importance of narrative for preschool children and the contributions of this practice to the development of oral and written language, with the subject of a class first period of a Centre Municipal Kindergarten in the city of Manaus in State of Amazonas. We stress the importance of access to preschool as a valuable achievement for children, since in this space, you can perform activities that will assist their cognitive growth, social and motor, aiming at learning and building of their autonomy, and suggests contributions that space pre-school can offer, in particular the development of language. Establish an analysis of the contributions of the narrative, taking it as a genre through the legends of the Amazonian mythology, selected from the specific characteristics of literature for children 4 and 5 years. We used the legend of Cobra Grande, version written by Thiago de Mello, the legend of the Victoria-Regia, version written by Stella Leonardos, the legend of Guarana, version written by Ciça Fittipaldi and legend in Cassava, version written by Walde-Sea Andrade e Silva, narratives that provided space for various production activities and involvement, because the legends have elements present in the lives of children who are easily identified and related. With this, the research reveals the interest of children by the narrative, pointing to a unique involvement with the legends, because it awakens the listeners' attention, encouraging the design and reporting experiences, always emphasizing the relationship with the elements of life Amazon.
