Resumo

Objective: The objective of this study was to evaluate the color stability of four nanoparticule composite resins resins by exposure to different substances considered as pigment. Materials and methods: 128 specimens of Filtek Z350 XT (3M), Filtek One Bulk Fill (3M), Vittra APS (FGM) and Opus Bulk Fill (FGM) composite resins (n = 32) with 8.0mm diameter x 4,0mm thickness were prepared. The specimens were immersed in green tea, red wine, energetic and distilled water (control) and kept in an oven with a controlled temperature of 37ºC. The color was evaluated before immersion in the test solutions and after 30, 60 and 90 days of immersion through digital image, which were later analyzed by the program mColorMeter version 2.5.3, which gave the values of the color scale CIE-Lab. Data were tabulated and statistically analyzed. The Shapiro-Wilk test evaluated the normality of all the data (p> 0.05) and the Levene test confirmed the homogeneity of the variances for the dependent variable (p> 0.05). Analysis of variance (ANOVA) of three factors for repeated measurements was used to evaluate the influence of material (composite resin) (factor 1, 3 levels), immersion solution (factor 2, 3 levels) and time (3 levels for change by heart). Results: Statistical analysis ANOVA showed significant influence for all factors isolated (except material) and all their interactions on color stability. Conclusion: Composite resins suffered color change after immersion in dye solutions and the degree of staining is subject to the type of solution and the time of contact with the same.
