Territorialização e planejamento da saúde em Manacapuru-AM

Abstract

Since its origin, Health Geography (thematic area of this study) has been focused on solving problems, allowing the identification of places and situations of risk, territorial planning of health actions and the development of prevention and promotion activities . In view of this, this research evaluated the applicability of territorialisation and health planning in the city of Manacapuru as to its conceptual meaning. For this, a technical-critical study was carried out on the territorial discussion on health, revisiting authors dedicated to the study of the territorial theme. In addition to a holistic-descriptive analysis of the territorialization of health in the city, identifying the multiple territorialities of the municipality and its reflections on the spatial distribution of health facilities in the city. Finally, he evaluated the physical and social environment of the housing place of the Residential Complex Ataliba David Antônio with the use of Systematic Social Observation generating a Social Vulnerability Index for this locality. As a result, it has been demonstrated that the symmetry between health and socio-spatial processes identified in the territory can be analyzed through research instruments that characterize and elaborate indicators on the physical and social attributes of the Context Unit and also stimulate participatory research practices, opening the possibility of replicating this method to the other localities of the city.
