Estudo do teor de água no biodiesel utilizado na mistura do diesel no Amazonas

Abstract

The water content in biodiesel according to the ANP 45/2014, may be up to 350mg/kg in case of inspection on a fuel distributor. The B100 biodiesel used in the distributor where the study was conducted in the state of Amazonas is from Mato Grosso plants, and travels an average distance of 2514 km between the two states, biodiesel is produced and marketed to distributors including ATEM. The biodiesel transportation logistics to Manaus is performed and two steps: road transport truck tank performing path of Lucas do Rio Verde - Mato Grosso to Porto Velho - Rondonia and river ferry tank modal conducting the second stage, between Porto Velho - Rondônia and Manaus - Amazonas logistical conditions along with regional characteristics as the weather associated with the fuel characteristics as hygroscopic that can change the quality of biodiesel. Which is why we carried out a systematic study of biodiesel quality control, considering the water content test from stock production by the distributor that markets the state of Amazonas. Considering the classification of the regional climate "hot and humid", where the logistics of transport occurs, plus the hygroscopic characteristic of biodiesel and monitoring within six points of biodiesel collection, where it was found in the analysis of samples a significant increase in content water, evidenced in monitoring during the year 2015, in batches of the distributors the tank, B and C, a result that was also evidenced by the systematic monitoring of three batches of Atem distributor, which mapped all the way from the production of biodiesel until its distribution. There was an increase of water content along the way by karl test fisher in samples collected demonstrated that biodiesel arrives at its destination the distributors out of specification, not meeting the current legislation of the National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and biofuels.
