Resumo
This study carries out an investigative approach on the praxis-poiesis of the artistic activity in the Amazon, in the ambit of popular culture, pointing out the invisibility of this type of work within the science. It is an approach woven with the threads of interdisciplinarity, under the inspiration of the Mormon dialogic, in frank conversation with Philosophy, Sociology, Anthropology and the Arts, as well as field voices, literary documents, experiences and observation in loco. The epicenter of the research is the city of Fonte Boa, located in the interior of the Amazon, its barracks and workshops where the traditional celebration of boisbumbás is produced. It is in these creative spaces that the wanderers, all self-taught, meet annually to weave, for months, a visual narrative about the Amazon through their art, also becoming subjects in an autopoietic process. The methodology, based on a rhizomatic perspective of knowledge, focused on narratives of the artists collected in the framework of the creation of the Fonteboense party, plus secondary sources collated with photographs, poems and songs, concerning the subject under study. The main results reveal that the popular artist lives in a crisis of belonging in a time when the old certainties have lost strength, he is a cultural mediator who makes rhizome, which makes him give up any kind of security, including legal. The praxis-poiesis of the artist-wanderer of the Amazon emerges conceptually as an antiperpécia, since it distances itself from the classic Greek division between praxis and poiesis. The research shows that the poetry of the Amazonian artist has penetrated the essence of the technique, metamorphosing it, transcending the artist himself that deterritorializes the concept and, therefore, is realized soulfully. His sensitivity allows him to give life to the Amazonian imagination, his art abrogates fantastic beings, hybrid animals, enchantments that only inhabited the narratives of traditional peoples. Finally, it must be recognized that in his subjectivity that he shares myths and weaves relational networks, the artist-wanderer of the Amazon becomes magician, medium, shaman! Recognized or not by society, sometimes astonished, in others rejected, this nomad of the forest and waters goes forth as a player always ready for a new match.
