Resumo
The cultures of camu-camu and araza have potential for production of raw materials of economic importance in the State of Amazonas. However, little is known about the nutritional requirements of these species. The objective was to evaluate the response of the camu-camu and araza the omission of nutrients and correcting soil acidity. The experiments were conducted in the greenhouse, Department of Agricultural Engineering and Soil Science, Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, Federal University of Amazonas. The experimental design was a randomized block design with 15 treatments and four replications. The treatments were: complete (liming, macro and micronutrients), complete less lime and with the omission of nutrients: N, P, K, Ca, Mg, S, Zn, Mn, Cu, B, C and Mo, and a control (native soil). Each experimental unit consisted of a plant grown in potted with capacity of 4 dm3. The two species had growth affected both by the omission of Ca and P as by soil acidity. However the biggest growth of camu-camu and araza were observed in full treatments with omission of N and K, respectively
