Resumo
The present study aimed to understand the trajectory of professionalization of graduates I. E. The years between 1993 to 2013. We sought to identify situations in this period that influenced to continue or not, working in education, as well as understand the meanings attributed by graduates to situations that influenced his career after completion of the Magisterium. Were considered for the study of trajectories two main indicators: educational background and career (positions and functions occupied), corresponding to the period 1993-2013. Interview was used narrative or story (auto) biographical therefore the same aims to monitor individual and collective articulated lifelong considering the professional context. In this perspective, the life course, with all the events that punctuate, their successes, their aspirations, their defining moments, ceases to be a personal experience turning into a social experience. The life histories facilitated to better understand the processes that forwarded certain graduates to continue in the teaching profession or to pursue another area. As they told their life courses, the graduates of the teaching provided elements to understand how the experiences in the course tangled in the fabric of their lives.
