Resumo
The hydrokinetic turbines are an alternative source for micro electric power generation with low implantation cost and environmental impact, they are still under development and share concepts and operating principles with wind turbines, a relatively mature technology. Currently, the blades that make up the rotor of this equipment are produced with the most advanced materials and manufacturing processes, but do not satisfy a certain public that lives isolated near watersheds such as those in the Amazon, deprived of resources and far from large urban centers. The present work has as objective, the technological adaptation of aeronautical propellers for the blades of a hydrokinetic turbine, being reproduced in small workshops, making use only of conventional tools, having only reused wood as material. For this, concepts of serial plan and descriptive geometry were applied for the improvement and precision of the technique, in order to guide the execution of the task by people with little technical knowledge. As a result, the production of the blades proved to be feasible, using little space for execution, with reused wood and performed only with simple tools, resulting in a piece with good dimensional accuracy, finish and mechanical strength.
