O ensino e aprendizagem da língua espanhola aos indígenas Kokama do bairro de Grande Vitória- Manaus

Resumo

ABSTRACT The Amazonian Kokama has a mobility between the countries of Brazil, Colombia and Peru; more physically in the region of the upper Solimões river and, lately, also in the villages and proportionally in groupings in the capital Manaus. This work has the purpose of contextualizing the teaching process of the Spanish language to the indigenous Kokama living in the east part of Manaus. Therefore, we have been guided by the following question: What are the objectives of the indigenous Kokama who want to know the Spanish language, considering that the Portuguese language in Manaus is hegemonic? with this question we aim to contextualise the relation of the Kokama with the process of education in the city of Manaus; Understand the sense and meaning of the Spanish language for the Kokama; and to understand the inter-ethnic relationship of these indigenous people with the communities located in the regions of Loreto (Peru) and the region of the high river Solimões, in Brazil. At the same time, we intend to understand the relationship between Spanish language and the context of Kokama territory; analyze how the teaching of the Spanish language becomes as well part of a traditional knowledge and finally demonstrate that the Spanish language must be updated as a way of professional development.
