A implementação do Programa Social e Ambiental dos Igarapés de Manaus – PROSAMIM no Parque Residencial São Raimundo nos seus aspectos de garantia no acesso à habitação e a geração de trabalho e renda

Abstract

The dissertation entitled “The Implementation of the Social and Environmental Program of Igarapés de Manaus – PROSAMIM in Parque Residencial São Raimundo in its aspects of guaranteeing access to housing and the generation of work and income” aims to bring a discussion about Brazilian housing policy, from State of Amazonas and the city of Manaus, in addition to addressing the policy for generating work and income. The research's general objective is to discuss the process of implementing PROSAMIM in Parque Residencial São Raimundo in its aspects of guaranteeing access to housing and the generation of work and income. PROSAMIM; point out the policies of the State of Amazonas for the wetlands and the actions of PROSAMIM regarding the guarantee of housing rights; and to verify the residents' strategies for generating work and income in Parque Residencial São Raimundo. This research, therefore, is of a qualitative and quantitative nature, its method is dialectical historical materialism and the following stages: bibliographic, documentary and field, highlighting that it was submitted to the Ethics Committee, being in line with what is established in Resolution 466/12. The data relating to the field research were obtained through semi-structured interviews with the residents of Parque Residencial São Raimundo who participated in the plans and actions developed by Prosamim. A script of questions was also used as a way of achieving the research objectives. These data were tabulated and analyzed for the construction of the Final Research and Dissertation Report. It is possible to infer that the residents included in the program and who reside in this Park point out some structural and social problems present in their realities, there is also a discontinuous development of projects for the residents in that location, mainly in the scope of work and income, there is no action of other policies on a continuous basis that can integrate housing policy and guarantee other rights in addition to the right to housing.
