Resumo
This research aims to present a methodological proposal for teaching music in the early years based on the musicogram by pedagogue Jos Wuytack on songs by Grupo Raízes Caboclas. The lack of concentration and attention while listening to the songs used in the classroom, as well as the difficulty in understanding the structure of a musical work, sparked interest in the topic. Given this, we thought about using the musicogram as a teaching resource to motivate and facilitate the process of understanding and listening to music. To guide the methodological proposal, we used Jos Wuytack's musical pedagogy through his active musical education system as a basis. The methodology used was a qualitative approachthrough quasi-experimental research involving a 5th grade class, with the application of pretest phases, experimental manipulation with and without the musicogram and post-test. It was carried out in a municipal public elementary school in the early years, located in Manaus-Am. The test results showed that, through the musicogram, students maintained greater interest, attention and concentration when listening to music, as well as helping them understand the elements of music.
