Resumo
This thesis analyzes the precariousness of teaching work in PARFOR developed at the Instituto de Educação, Agricultura e Ambiente (IEAA), from Universidade Federal do Amazonas (UFAM), seeking to understand how the precariousness of teaching work is emphasized in the context that this program is developed. The thesis we undertook was: The precariousness of teaching work in Brazil has been evidenced in the process of expansion of higher education since the 1995s and is emphasized in PARFOR developed at UFAM/IEEA. Our theoretical-methodological choices were based on historical-dialectical materialism, in order to understand the object and reality, which brings as inherent categories as contradiction, totality and mediation. The collected data were treated, organized and analyzed from the thematic analysis. The categories of analysis were work as a central category, precariousness, flexibilization and intensification. In order to collect the data, we collected documents and interviewed 10 (ten) IEAA/UFAM professors who worked at PARFOR in the period from 2010 to 2015. Based on the research, we verified that the teaching work has been precarious since its genesis, however, in PARFOR there are a greater intensification of the exploitation of the teaching workforce. The absence of the university tripod (teaching, research and extension), the reduction of the time of the workload, the labor density, are factors that accentuate the precariousness of the teaching work.
