Uma proposta de difusão do conhecimento em propriedade intelectual e transferência de tecnologia para empresas do Programa Prioritário de Economia Digital

Abstract

The development of laws and public policies that encourage the creation of environments that promote innovation is only consolidated with the joint work between the various actors that make up the National Innovation System. However, this growth has been very discreet in the national scenario and this ends up impacting the economic development of the country and of the System itself, which lacks deeper foundations when it comes to innovation and intellectual property. In light of the above, this work presents a profile of startups participating in the Priority Program in Digital Economy in Manaus, a diagnosis of the level of knowledge of these companies regarding intellectual property and technology transfer and the strategies used to protect this property intellectual property and its monetization. All these partial results were achieved through a methodology that used bibliographic research, interview elaboration and semi-open electronic questionnaire for data collection and subsequent analysis. The interviews that followed a predetermined script and directed to the people who work in the coordination of the program and the managers of a sample of startups; and a semi-open questionnaire that was applied electronically to those managers who could not participate in the survey through the interview. All this script and results culminated in the main proposal of this work, which is the elaboration of a booklet on intellectual property and technology transfer aimed mainly at startups participating in the Programa Prioritário de Economia Digital. This instrument was elaborated in the form of questions and answers and can help entrepreneurs to clarify their most frequent doubts regarding common themes, such as trademark, patents, software registration and technology transfer. The results revealed that some entrepreneurs have a level of knowledge that allows them to draw strategies for the company's growth in the international market, while others are still starting. Thereby, it was also important to ascertain the care taken by these managers in keeping IP within the company and treated as a valued asset.
