Experimentação musical coletiva com alunos do 9º Ano na EMEF Solange Nascimento

Abstract

This article discusses a process of musical and pedagogical creation that centered around singing in schools. It started with a song chosen by students in an Art class with 9th-grade students at EMEF Solange Nascimento in Manaus - AM. The project aimed to encourage collective musical creation and facilitate musical learning. Qualitative research using action research methodology was conducted, including field diaries, and vocal evaluation questionnaires for data collection. The outcome of the project was the musical score of the song "A Noite" by the band Tiê, performed by students playing acoustic guitar, ukulele, and keyboard, along with body percussion and a two-voice excerpt involving everyone. This work highlights the classroom activity in a specific context and suggests its potential as a foundation for future activities and research on the same topic in other contexts.
