Recreação e lazer ao longo da BR-174: implicações ambientais na bacia hidrográfica do rio Tarumã-Açu, Manaus - AM

Abstract

The objective of this research is to analyze the offer of recreation, leisure and environmental implications in the scope of the Tarumã-Açu River Basin, Manaus - AM. Considering the cultural, natural, equipment and services offered in KM 4 to KM 45 of BR-174, in this way, describe the management models and mitigating measures that the enterprises have in relation to the use of natural resources and the production of waste. The research is descriptive and proposes for data analysis a qualitative-quantitative approach, using multiple techniques/methods for data collection, among them: field observations, interviews, documentary research, bibliographic and photographic record. In total, approximately 20 enterprises were observed, in order to understand the relationship between tourism and the environment in the use of georeferenced mapping, observation scripts and semi-structured interviews with the owner or employee responsible for the project (Annex B) and a visitor/tourist (Annex C). The relevance of the research for the tourist trade is to format a guide of recreation and leisure referring to regional cafes and spas, combining the interests of the enterprises with public policies in tourism. For academia, a study that aims at tourism and the environment in favor of the maintenance of natural areas, in understanding the influence of the practice of tourism in an area of Hydrographic Basin. For society, an organized alternative of the practice of bathing and leisure that meets the nearby communities and residents of the peripheral regions of the city of Manaus.
