Resumo
This dissertation addresses the right to education and the work of teachers in the Municipal Education Network of Lábrea - AM, during the Covid-19 pandemic, between the years 2020 and 2021. It focuses on the theme of the right to education in remote teaching: an analysis of teaching work in the public municipal schools of Lábrea - AM. The general objective is to analyze the conditions of teaching work in the municipal network of Lábrea - AM, during remote teaching, as a contribution to ensuring the right to education. The specific objectives are: to identify the pedagogical practices of teachers in Lábrea during the Covid-19 pandemic; to understand the implications of remote work on teaching practice as a guarantee of the right to education; to identify some of the difficulties faced by municipal teachers in Lábrea regarding the remote classes offered by the educational institutions participating in the research. The guiding question was: how was the work of teachers in Lábrea operationalized during remote teaching, in a way that contributed to the realization of the right to education? To support the research, authors who provide information on the subject were referenced, such as Muzzuoli (2002), Alves (2003), Bedin and Schneider (2012), Tardif, Lessard, and Gauthier (1977), Tardif (1977, 2002, 2007), Marx (1985), Ourique, Lage, and Bueno (2021), Godoy (1995), Triviños (1987), Gil (1999), and Bardin (2011). Regarding the methodology, it is basic research, through interviews, involving a qualitative approach, with the semi-structured interview as the data collection instrument. The data were analyzed based on Bardin’s content analysis (2011), involving the following stages: pre-analysis, material exploration, inference, and interpretation. Before and during the research, a literature review was conducted to ensure that the study had a coherent theoretical foundation consistent with the addressed theme. The research subjects were primary school teachers, specifically those teaching the 5th grade in the municipal network of Lábrea - AM. Through the research, it was possible to identify the factors that contributed or not to the development of teaching work and whether the students' right to education was respected during the remote teaching of the Covid-19 pandemic. After the conclusion of the research, the findings were quite relevant, and it was found that the teachers did not receive the necessary and quality support to satisfactorily develop their teaching activities during remote classes.
