Amazônia em ontogenia: o caso da região metropolitana de Manaus

Abstract

The constitution of the metropolitan region of Manaus (RMM) reveals changes in the system, called ontogeny. This process represents the historical transformations undergone by the organisms. The main objective of this thesis was to analyze the ontogeny on the city and the family farm from the constitution of the RMM. Once called capital of the tropics, Manaus officially became the host city of the metropolitan area in 2007. This fact resulted in the lifting of old demands and the outcropping of new ones related to the structure and development of this type of urban grouping. The biology of cognition was the main theoretical basis of the thesis considering the construction of knowledge from the experience in the world. In the condition of a complex system, the RMM of scientific study was made possible through interdisciplinarily, where the research approach consisted in multiple case study with the research units are represented on the one hand, by localized agro - ecosystems "the edges" of the AM 070 highway; the other, the cities of Iranduba, Manacapuru and Manaus are lining up for another organization, mainly promoted by the State; while agriculture, especially family, is compromised due to changes in your workspace, generating therefore food insecurity. Therefore, the current changes permeate from the daily lives of people relations between the state and capital. With the ease of flow and the strengthening of the relationship between Manaus, Iranduba and Manacapuru from the construction of the Rio Negro bridge, the organization of municipalities .has to be changed in the urban network of the Western Amazon from right margin, Iranduba and Manacapuru stand out for the economy of primary products, such as the practiced on family farms, including vegetables grown; at the same time, part of the changes resulting from the consolidation of the metropolitan area, and the municipality of Iranduba one with the greatest impact on the work in progress. On the other hand, Manaus, headquarters of the RMM, stands out regionally for the production resulting from the Industrial Pole of Manaus - PIM, as well as the urban center in the system, featuring the metropolitan area as macrocephalic. This situation is aggravated because of the political public promotion of the city's organizational movement and agriculture in the Amazon, by accentuating vulnerability to weave actions aimed at increasing the capital, and the Manaus Free Zone and its Polo Industrial main force tool.
