Resumo
The thesis aims to understand the objectives, conceptions and configurations of the
IFRR-Campus Novo Paraíso Graduate Monitoring Policy and its conjecture in the
relationship with the juvenile subject. The research was organized around the following
central question: To what extent has the Graduate Monitoring Policy, developed at IFRR –
Campus Novo Paraíso, contributed to the socially referenced quality of the training processes
of young subjects of technical education integrated into secondary education in the context of
the Roraima Amazon? The issue starts from a theoretical and broad confrontation, which
refers to the updating of the debate on the formative role of schools among young people and
is complemented by the interrogation of an empirical and specific institutional policy, in
which they seek to identify challenges and possibilities. It was used a qualitative
methodological approach, developed in three stages, namely: 1) Bibliographical research,
including a survey of academic production. 2) Documentary research, covering the study of
institutional documents: General Regulations (2014), Institutional Development Plan – IDP
2019-2023, Resolution 608/2021 - CONSUP/IFRR, of October 26, 2021, which provides for
the Graduate Monitoring Policy (GMP) of the Federal Institute of Roraima. 3) Field research
using semi-structured interviews with graduates of IFRR - Campus Novo Paraíso. Data
analysis followed the qualitative content analysis technique. The results indicate that, if the
GMP is carried out from a critical perspective of reality, it can support the (re)knowledge of
young people, which, initially, would include offering a teaching and learning process closer
to their needs and potential, and in a broad aspect, allow these young people to have straighter
trajectories, in terms of the scope of education and their life projects.
