Economia Solidária e Cooperativismo no Contexto Rural: o trabalho autogestionário da Associação Comunitária dos Produtores Rurais da Comunidade N. Sra. Aparecida

Abstract

This thesis research the subject of the Association within the framework of the solidarity economy, seeking to determine the emergence of new social technologies in the contemporary process of reinvention of workers, with emphasis on the work done by the members of the APRODUCIDA Community Association of rural producers of Nossa Senhora Aparecida, in Coari, in Amazonas State. The solidarity economy resurfaces with a strong potential of response to the crisis of wage labor. It is an innovative large-scale social perspective capable of significant segments of workers re-enter in the productive process. The methodology of this study privileges the guidelines of qualitative approaches without exclusion of quantitative aspects. The fieldwork was carried out in the community, our Lady of Aparecida, in the city of Coari, in Amazonas State, next to members of APRODUCIDA and other social actors. Among the multiple results found it became clear it was the rural associativism a viable exit, to face the crisis of work in contemporary time. We note that, in the wider context of the State of Amazonas, is increasing the number of projects of solidarity, and that these projects rely on the support of the Brazilian State, although minimally. It can be said, by way of conclusion, that the solidarity economy raises the self-esteem of the workers in the work process, recreate not romantically, but as social constructs. And, although sympathetic enterprises are monitored by the State Forum of solidarity economy of Amazonas, amidst many obstacles and difficulties, the Amazon can keep pace and the walk from the movement of the solidarity economy in Brazil.
