Mortalidade em Manaus: caracterização e espacialização dos homicídios, diferenciais sócio-econômicos e demográficos das vítimas residentes em área urbana

Abstract

These findings were part of this investigation, whose main sources of given the Mortality Information System (SIM) - Ministry of Health - the Secretary of the State of Amazonas Public Security and the demographic census of IBGE. In addition to a brief discussion of the situation on levels and trends of mortality Manaus murder in the national context, the study seeks especially systematize major features of the homicides in the city, both with regard to the event itself, as location, time, day and month of occurrence, weapon used, aggression reason, identification of authorship, as about the demographic and social conditions of the victims.
