Resumo
This paper deals with the main results about the research carried out over 2 years. In
summary, the main objective of this research was to diagnose the physiognomy of
the landscape of the water systems of the São Raimundo stream basin in order to
identify vulnerabilities and risks to which these systems are subjected. The diagnosis
of landscape physiognomy was made from the characterization of the landscape
geodiversity of the BHSR. Specifically this diagnosis will focus on the intersection of
the geomorphological characterizations of the basin (slope, slope shape),
hydrographic (river hierarchy, number of channels, channel profile among others) and
the characterization of urban land use and occupation that will be regulated by
assessments. of field. After this diagnosis, the next step was the mapping and
analysis of the vulnerability of BHSR water systems (Igarapés, APPs and springs).
This research had the importance of being part of the current environmental
concerns. It also attempts to fill the need for more environmental studies from the
methodological theoretical framework of geography to answer local questions about
the weaknesses of public management in relation to ecosystem services provided by
water systems in the urban area of Manaus. This qualification report is divided into
three chapters. The first deals with the conceptual bases and the theoretical
framework according to the assumptions of Edgar Morin's Complexity. The second
chapter presents geomorphological, hydrographic characterizations and the
characterization of urban land use and occupation in the BHSR. The third chapter
presents the final result of mapping and analysis of the vulnerability of water systems
- Igarapés, Permanent Preservation Areas and springs.
