Modelagem da produção referente à piscicultura e a pesca comercial artesanal que abastece a cidade de Manaus – Amazonas

Abstract

The objective of this work was to analyze, through modeling processes, the current state and future perspectives of the fishery production in the city of Manaus, both commercial fishing and fish farming. For this, we used fishery production data provided by the Colony of Fishermen Z-12 of Manaus and, data from IPAAM related to fish farming. All data were entered into the Stella Software and used to feed the final model and thus submitted to the modeling process. This work intends to foresee possible scenarios for the fishing sector of the region, which can contribute to the creation of public policies that will develop and improve both fishing and fish farming, as well as contributing to the preservation of fishing environments . Fisheries and fish farming can work together to organize and develop the fishing industry, reducing the impacts caused to the environment by the two activities.
