Juventude e trabalho: uma análise da implementação do Programa Projovem Trabalhador no município de Manaus

Abstract

Understanding youth from its social construction, cultural and historical, looking reflect on their specificities and approaches is critical when we think the constitution of Labor and Employment Policies aimed at young people in Brazil. Therefore, recognizing the importance of youth relationship and work is possible to understand the dialogue between youth and current policies and actions of young people entering the world of work. In this sense, this research aims to analyze the implementation of Projovem worker in Manaus with reference to Labour and Employment Policies aimed at young people. Therefore, it has the following specific objectives: to characterize the Projovem worker actions taken in Manaus; know the vision of young graduates Projovem worker about their social, vocational and expectations regarding insertion in the labor market; investigate the perception of representatives of the State / Town and executing agencies Projovem worker on the implementation of the Program; and see to what extent the actions of Projovem worker in Manaus line with the guidelines recommended by the Federal Government. With regard to academic/scientific relevance, the research will have an important role in revealing the determinations and contradictions present in the process and content of Projovem worker in Manaus. The locus of this research were: the Secretariat of State for Labour - SETRAB and Euvaldo Lodi - IEL/AM. The study presents a qualitative and quantitative approach, focusing on qualitative, given that this aims to investigate the meanings that social actors give to the fact, people, objects that surround your social universe. How to search results found the need to establish a system of information in order to publicize the results of Projovem worker. The survey underlined the concern of students in relation to the practical classes and the importance of completing the planning for the occurrences identified are corrected. Regarding the perception of managers and professionals and Program implementation identified in their reports a positive assessment, however, highlighting obstacles that occurred during the implementation process. In addition, it was found that the Projovem worker nationally is going through a restructuring process aimed at correcting the inconsistencies noted by the supervisory bodies. Thus, it is expected that the institutions involved take the evaluation as a procedure that will enable them to improve their actions and maintain a transparent relationship with your target audience, regarding their purposes, processes and outcomes
