Identificação e análise dos critérios de decisão na escolha de transporte de carga pelas indústrias do PIM

Abstract

The transport of loads is assumed in the era of integration of regional markets an important role in the competitiveness of economies. Consequently, this has enabled the expansion and accumulation of capital in more distant regions of the main centers being developed example, companies exporting the Industrial Pole of Manaus - PIM. Thus, it is essential to know and investigate the technical and economic criteria that the exporting companies based in the PIM take into account when it comes to choice of transport of cargo to the international market. We tried to identify and prioritize the technical criteria that companies take into account in recruitment of cargo transport as well as analyze, from a model of decision applied the companies, the criteria for achieving the best choice among the methods of transport in the region. From a total of seven criteria examined the results of work no longer clear the importance attached to the discretion Damages which suggests a need for investment in items that improves the criterion. The emphasis of the criteria by the companies was thus: Damage and Losses 41.8%, 18.9% Reliability, Punctuality 13.9%, Cost 8%; Time Travel 6.8%, load Flexibility 6.1% and Accessibility4.5%. For the solutions given notice is a great desire to improve the handling of cargo at ports mainly by increasing competition in the face of almost monopolize the port sector.
