Resumo

The attention to children in the postnatal period in basic health services has been stimulated with the public policies of proven effectiveness and wide coverage, aimed at reducing child mortality, highlighting the care line"First Week Integra Health", established in Datebook for Comprehensive Child Health and Reducing Child Mortality. Thisaction emphasizes the care of all newborns in the first week of life by professionals from primary health care units in order to facilitate the promotion of health care as well as monitoring risk situations that determine the illness or death of the child. In this context, the study aimed to develop and validatean instrument assessment for the newborn in the First Week of Integral Health to systematize the process of care of primary health care in the first week of life of the newborn. Descriptive study of quantitative approach, methodological development, content validation of the instrument developed based on the actions recommended in the care line "First Week of Integral Health" Datebook for Comprehensive Child Health and Infant Mortality Reduction type in the context of assessment and classification of children 0-2 months of manual and technical AIDPI Neonatal Prenatal and postpartum manual qualified and humanized care. To validate the content of the instrument Delphi technique was used, by conducting trials and consensus by a group of judges, experts in the field. In this studythe index was adopted 70% as the minimum level of consensus to be obtained. The results show that with the completion of a phase of the Delphi technique, the instrument rated for 10 (ten) expert judges appeared to be adequate for general appearance (consensus level of 90%), ease of understanding (consensus level 90 100%), Feasibility of care practice level (100% consensus) and included items (level 100% consensus). It is concluded that the developed instrument demonstrated content validity in the opinion of expert judges, and at the time, has to be compatible to end it proposes, to evaluate the newborn in the first week of life, favoring and systematizing care process.
