Inovação e projetos de subvenção econômica em micro e pequenas empresas: uma análise dos tipos de inovações pretendidas

Abstract

The objective of this work is to analyze aspects and classify the types of innovations intended by micro and small enterprises (MPEs) in non-reimbursable economic grant projects in the State of Amazonas and also to demonstrate a panorama about this type of subsidy in the State . The operationalization of non-reimbursable economic subsidy programs is usually carried out through partnerships with regional agents, research support foundations, state secretariats and development banks focused on MPEs. Having in Amazonas the Foundation for the Support of Research of the State of Amazonas (FAPEAM), its main proponent, with the support of the Financier of Studies and Projects (FINEP). For this work, data and official documents published by FINEP and FAPEAM were used. The methodology used is exploratory and descriptive, with a qualitative approach, the method of analysis is content and documentary research. To obtain the results were consulted notices, results, publications and documentation of the programs. The main results were that the calls for proposals and innovation projects stand out as great opportunities for innovation development for SMEs, working with significant amounts of non-refundable subsidy. It is concluded that there is a high concentration of projects contemplated in four thematic areas: Information and Communication Technology - ICTs, Biotechnology, biopharmaceuticals and biocosmetics, Food Products with Amazonian Inputs and Environmental Products and Services. About them, 13 areas were identified and grouped. As for the types of innovation sought in the projects, there are two types of innovation: product innovations and process innovations, which demonstrates the various opportunities for expansion and diversification of both the types and areas of innovation in the bidding documents, thus contributing to the development of indexes and actions of innovations in State MPEs.
