Resumo
We live in an increasingly technological society, for both, ways to adapt teaching to this new rhythm. In this way, public policies arise with one of the objectives to train teachers to integrate digital technologies in basic education. This research had the objective of investigating the perceptions, possibilities and challenges of mathematics teachers regarding the use of TDICs from the continuous training within the Amazon + Connected Program. The theoretical bases of this research are anchored in: Pimenta and Ghedin (2012) regarding the conceptual tendency that permeates the continuous formation, Kenski (2012); Mishra and Koehler (2006) regarding training for the use of TDIC and Borba (2010, 2013) for learning using TDICs. For the development of this work, the qualitative approach was adopted, having as instruments of data collection: documentary analysis, questionnaire and semi-structured interview. The teachers and trainers of three schools in the city of Manaus, in the State of Amazonas, participated as subjects of the research. Data analysis was based on the Content Analysis technique proposed by Bardin (2011). The results indicate that the training is still far from the real needs of the teachers, not allowing them to safely take ownership of these technological instruments. Another factor is related to how these formations are planned, with no connection between technology and (mathematical) content. We perceive that teachers conceive possibilities of learning such as the use of TDIC, however, they find difficulties to use these in their pedagogical practices, mainly due to the following factors: available time of the teacher, lack of school infrastructure and poor quality of the internet in schools.
