Modelo de gestão de saúde apoiado por telefonia móvel para auxiliar a adesão ao tratamento da tuberculose

Abstract

Tuberculosis is a disease that accompanies man throughout his history, and according to the World Health Organization (WHO), one third of the world population has latent tuberculosis, and it is estimated that in 2014, 9.6 million People became sick and 1.5 million died of the disease all over the planet. This work aims to develop a health management model supported by mobile telephony software to support adherence to tuberculosis treatment. Bibliographical and documentary research was used as a methodology to support the theoretical reference; Interviews with health professionals in order to understand the treatment process; The software development was consolidated after the interviews and knowledge of the whole process. As a result of the use of the software, it is intended to strengthen adherence to treatment, reducing rates of abandonment and deaths of tuberculosis in Manaus / AM, increasing cure rates.
