Proposição de um modelo de ferramenta digital de apoio à gestão de propriedade intelectual voltada a startups

Resumo

Transforming generated intellectual property into wealth is fundamental for startups, which differentiate by intensive use of technology, lean structure, and innovative products. However, the view that Brazilian startups have on the value of intellectual property (IP) as an asset is still nebulous. The objective of this work was to develop a digital application that helps entrepreneurs in the management of intellectual property in their startups. Therefore, it was necessary to analyze the models of existing digital tools for IP management, validate the new tool's functionalities with possible users and develop a minimum viable product (MVP) to simulate the proposed application. The methodology applied divided this research into six phases: bibliographic study, research planning, analysis of existing tools, prototype development, idea validation with possible users and development of the application's MVP. As a result, nine digital IP management tools were analyzed, in addition to the validation of the proposed application, by through interviews where the opinions of possible users were collected about the proposed idea and its applicability. From the existing tools and the interviews, it was possible to elaborate an MVP of the tool, capable of simulating the application proposal and its functionalities, modeled in a website format, where all the items related to IP management, previously identified in the existing tools, and validated in the interviews.
