A formação de conceitos no ensino de biologia a partir do uso de um espaço não formal na cidade de Manaus

Abstract

The dissertation presented here aims as a general objective; investigate the formation process of Science concepts in the methods of teaching from the use of a non-formal space in Manaus, part of the following scientific problem: How the use of a non-formal space, in biology teaching, can be useful for the formation of concepts? That question reminds us from the following guiding: In which way this interaction between learner interaction, subject and environment can imply in the formation of concepts in what remind us of biology? In that way: What is the way of non-formal space of the Museum of Amazônia – MUSA – can be useful as an instrument from teaching-learning from the formation of scientific concepts? Starting in these assumptions, we show the following specific objects: Relate the student knowledge and the formal theorist with the subjects and non-formal spaces, mediated by the teacher and subsidized by experimentation. And even more: Verificate how the non-formal space of the MUSA enables the teacher and the teaching-learning; therefore the research followed the following steps: bibliographic survey, investigation of potentialities of the informal space where was the research done, data collect, reading, interpretation and data analysis; whose data collect was made using: semi-structured questionnaire, as well as audio capture data processing will be carried out through the discursive textual analysis. The research proposes to contribute scientifically as a research study of the teaching-learning process with regard to training of concepts from the use of a non-formal. The study is justified by the need to investigate how these processes occur and what instruments can contribute to the success of students learning.
