Resumo
The Amazon has a highly favorable for biodiversity
search for new economic and scientific alternatives.
Many researchers have sought to identify bioactive compounds
regional plants, where even some research has shown the effectiveness
of antioxidant compounds in combating free radicals, showing the
importance of products of the Amazonian plant extraction in this scenario
described, including examples like the fruits of açaí, cubiu and piquiá.
Amazonian fruit have found enough space in the tests
scientific achievements around the world, but little attention has been directed
for their waste, whether industrial or subparts of these fruits, not
enjoyed the food and / or pharmaceutical industry.
This thesis project aims to identify, by the use of green chemistry,
Bioactive compounds of commercial interest in waste or subparts
underexplored of fruit trees and Amazonian tubers with
objective of generating new products in the food and / or pharmaceutical field, or
even patents.
