Tecnologia educacional sobre profilaxia pré-exposição para travestis e mulheres trans: produção baseada em evidências

Resumo

Objective: To produce an educational technology about pre-exposure prophylaxis- PrEP, for transvestites and trans women. Methods: Methodological study realized in three stages: literature narrative review, identification of the generating themes and production of educational technology. The literature narrative review occurred with consultations to the LILACS, BDENF and PUBMED bases. In the second stage, were identified generating themes based on technical information from the Clinical Protocol and Therapeutic Guidelines for Prophylaxis of Risk to HIV Infection and others from the Ministry of Health. In the third stage, was produced the technology from the synthesis of the results of the review and the gene rating themes identified. Results: In the review stage, were obtained 64 productions; after the analysis process, was obtained a sample of 7 productions, published between 2015 and 2019; it was found that the scientific studies found that showed educational technologies focused on the use of PrEP, were restricted to a few studies, however they showed the importance of using educational technologies such as social networks; mobile app for smartphone; online counseling platforms and HIV tests; peer information; group interventions with trans people that made it possible for trans and transvestite women to feel welcomed and that also allowed for greater knowledge and interest in the use of PrEP. In the identification stage, 10 generating themes emerged: PrEP, Combined Prevention, Risk Management, Serodiscordant Partnerships, Sexual Practices, Sexual Partnerships, Scheme for using PrEP, Care for using PrEP, Adhering to PrEP, Adverse Events. In the production stage, an educational technology was outlined, entitled “Let's Combine! Guide on HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis for transgender and transvestite women”, which can be published in print or digital form, with 29 pages, organized from 11 topics, with texts and illustrations related to PrEP. Final Considerations: The educational technology produced may mediate educational work processes of health professionals with a view to HIV prevention in the population of trans and transvestite women, contribute to peer work, prevention and promotion of sexual health, promoted by trans activists and transvestites from associations and civil society organizations, from the state of Amazonas, about the importance of adhering to and using PrEP, using a guide with some specifics elaborated and directed to this population, such as the language of “pajubá”, in an attempt better appropriation of basic and therapeutic information regarding the use of this important biomedical prevention tool.
