Validação das características definidoras do diagnóstico de enfermagem nutrição desequilibrada: menos do que as necessidades corporais em pacientes com câncer de estômago no contexto amazônico

Abstract

It treats of the Nursing Diagnosis that constitutes a fundamental stage in the process of taking care, being basic to the nursing interventions. It was constituted of a descriptive and traverse study, in a quantitative perspective, with the objective of validating the defined characteristics of the Nursing Diagnosis unbalanced nutrition: minus than the corporal needs in patients with stomach cancer in the amazon context; for male nurses experts that act in the oncology area in two hospitals of teaching at municipal district of Belém (Pará State, in Brazil), with the intention of supplying data to the male nurses regarding which defined characteristics needs to be identified before this diagnosis to be established, making possible a better planning of the care of rendered nursing. It had as respondents 34 male nurses considered experts in the diagnosis that is being studied, selected in agreement with the theoretical referential of Fehring (1987). It was used as research instrument the questionnaire, based on the diagnosis to be validated, containing an orderly series of mixed questions, composed of two parts, the first regarding the data of identification of the experts and second, consisting of an Lickert Scale, with space so that a value from 1 to 5 was attributed for each one of the defined characteristics(of the least for the most characteristic), containing 23 defined characteristics pointed for the NANDA-I (2010), with a space destined to add other characteristics that it doesn't consist in the instrument, with your respective justification. The obtained results were 04 temporary main indicators, with considered average> 0,80, which are: weigh corporal of 20% or more below the ideal, Report of inadequate ingestion of victuals, smaller than PDR (Recommended Daily Portion), weight loss with appropriate ingestion of food and abdominal Pain. They were pointed 16 temporary secondary indicators, considered average <0,80 and> 0,50, which are: It lacks of interest in the food, pale Mucous membranes, satiety immediately after ingestion, abdominal Colic, Pele evaporates, Report of sensation of altered flavor, Aversion to the act of eating, Noises intestinal hyperactive, unsatisfactory muscular tones, Diarrhea, Weakness of the necessary muscles the deglutition or the mastication, Edema, Cavity buccal wound, noticed Incapacity of ingesting food, Lack of information and capillary Fragility. The defined characteristics Steatorrea, excessive Loss of hair, wrong Ideas, incorrect Information and it Lacks of food they were discarded for obtaining score<0,5. it was Ended that the defined characteristics pointed as temporary main indicators have positive relationship with the clinical manifestations of the stomach cancer and they can lead to the Nursing Diagnosis unbalanced Nutrition: minus than the corporal needs in patients with stomach cancer serving as base for the nursing interventions.
