Resumo

The work theme is the Learning Law as a public politics of professional insertion directed to the youth. It addressed issues related to public policies of professional insertion directed to the youth, more specifically the Law nº 10.097 / 2000, known as Young Apprentice. The general objective of the research was to analyze the public policy of hiring young apprentices, according to the Learning Law, in a public school in the east of Manaus. The specific objectives were intended to understand how the Learning Program is configured in the context of public policies aimed at the professional insertion of young people; identify their specificities in the process of professional insertion of youth and verify the articulations of this program with the high school. The research began with a literature review and legal considerations, along with fieldwork. It is part of a qualitative approach and used the method of dialectical materialism to meet the challenge of this task. As a result, the Law of Learning was evidenced as an instrument of public politics, although contradictory and precarious in the process of insertion of youth, in a context of reduced rights and precarious work, significantly contributed to the subsistence and expansion of education. autonomy of young people from the popular classes.
