Avaliação da gestão do Programa Nacional de Alimentação Escolar Indígena ofertada no estado do Amazonas

Abstract

The present study aims to evaluate the management of the National School Feeding Program in the municipalities of the State of Amazonas that offer indigenous school feeding. And as specific objectives: to describe the National School Feeding Program (PNAE), as well as the particularities that encompass indigenous school feeding; analyze how the PNAE management process occurs in the municipalities of Amazonas and compliance with Technical Note No. 01/2017/ADAF/SFA-AM/MPF-AM; evaluate the purchasing history of indigenous family farming by municipalities in the state of Amazonas and the quality of menus in accordance with the resolution of the National Education Development Fund (FNDE) for indigenous schoolchildren; and verify the management activities of the municipalities of Amazonas according to the opinion of the School Feeding Councils (CAE) and the implementation of technical note No. (01/2017/ADAF/SFA-AM/MPF-AM) of indigenous school feeding. This is a descriptive cross-sectional study with a qualitative and quantitative approach, with the participation of actors (Public Ministry, Municipal Management, School Feeding Council and Technical-Nutritionist Responsible) involved in the management of the National School Feeding Program (PNAE), aimed at reflecting on indigenous school meals. Through this research, it is recognized that the logistics and hydrological cycle of the state is a determining factor for agricultural production and access to organic food in the indigenous school year. indigenous peoples in the last five consecutive years, disproportionate indigenous family farming and local development, through this fragility it was possible to analyze school menus and the lack of weekly food diversity, disrespecting their cultural habits
