Recursos fisioterapêuticos empregados no tratamento de pacientes com TCE para o estímulo da neuroplasticidade: um estudo de revisão sistemática

Abstract

Objective: To carry out a systematic review to evaluate the therapeutic modalities that stimulate neuroplasticity more effectively in the treatment of patients with TBI. Methodology: This is a systematic review study, whose collection will be performed in the MEDLINE (via PubMED) and PEDro databases between November 2021 and May 2022. The following search terms will be used for the searches “traumatic brain injury” AND “physiotherapy”; in the Physiotherapy Evidence Database (PEDro), added the completion of the advanced search fields available on the site. They are: Abstract & Title: traumatic brain injury; Body Part: head or neck; Subdiscipline: neurology; Method: clinical trial. The selected articles will be evaluated according to the PEDro Scale, in order to quantify the methodological quality of the studies based on the evaluation criteria of that scale. Results: We found 233 articles, where 223 were excluded and 10 articles remained to be analyzed and tabulated. Conclusion: The studies indicate a great diversity of conducts employed.
