Resumo
The Health Geography has been contributing a lot in the studies on the health-disease process. This approach allows to understand the dynamics that occurs in the geographical space regarding a certain worsen or disease. The behavior of the space distribution of the dengue is a good example to comprehend this dynamic. Thus this research tried to associate the larval density using LIRAa, but carrying in environmental and social factors consideration that are associates in the health-disease process. Having as base data infestation predial and the kinds of the places mosquito obtained by LIRAa in the period from 2008 to 2009, they were used the averages of the first semester identifying that 47,2% of the stratums found introduce infestation high risk and the most vulnerable areas to the vector are the north, east, center-south and south zones. However, using the averages for the second semester, it identifies a reduction of the stratums found with infestation high risk, representing 15% located in the north and east zones.
The combat of dengue vector is a commitment of all society and requires attention not only of sectors linked to the greets, but of sectors that are directly associated to the incidence of dengue vector, such as public cleansing services and sanitation. Manaus for it geographical location and climate finishes being a propitious area for a dengue epidemic. Understanding the factors human and environmental for draw the dengue in Manaus is a perspective that should be adopted, mostly as instrument that can assist the control actions of the vector
