Trajetórias e processos de criação dos artistas plásticos em Parintins

Resumo

The present dissertation consists of the study on Trajectories and creation processes of plastic artists in Parintins, the locus is the municipality of Parintins Amazonas. The research takes place with the plastic artists who passed through the art school of the Italian missionary Brother Miguel de Pascale; as well as artists who graduated from Visual Expression in 2004; more specifically with visual artists Rob Barbosa, Josinaldo Matos and Evanil Maciel. When in contact with the artists inserted in the research, through the creative process, configuring and systematizing the local culture through the pictorial nuances on canvas, we find elements imbricated with the Amazonian culture. Thus, the search to point out the impacts of academic training on the processes of creation and representation in the imagination of plastic artists in Parintins, motivated us to research the experience of these artists included in the research. The research assumed the contribution of the qualitative approach and as a way to arrive at the data, semi-structured interview techniques were used with open and closed questions, informal conversations, photographic records, recordings of testimonies, artistic sketches, records in the field notebook and dialogue with the artists researched and also with other artists from Parintinense who contributed their views on art in Parintins. Approaching our object of study, being added through our private experience as an artist, but always considering the experiences of the researched subjects.
