Resumo
The study reflects on the training and praxis of Macuxis' teachers coming from Raposa Serra do Sol, in the northeast of Roraima, which is historically known to be an anti-Indian state. Therefore, it was made an ethnography, that combines field trips, memories, narratives and autobiography. This research was performed on with graduate teachers in the course of Intercultural degree with specialization in the area of Social Sciences offered by Insikiran Institute an Indigenous College in Universidade Federal de Roraima - UFRR. We use ourselves on our experience as a teacher trainer in that institution, sagacity in the classroom, pedagogical meetings, informal meetings with the subjects, recording in writing all these perceptions in the notes. Aiming to understand how these subjects relate to their ethnic identity with their professional identity, concomitantly, to know what their understanding of interculturalism, how they perceive the relationship between traditional knowledge and scientific knowledge, and they apply in their teaching practice in seeking to know their realities prioritize their demands and perspectives as an educator. The project to train indigenous teachers in Roraima is the result of social struggle waged between the educational model institutionalized by the state and applied regardless of the social diversity of indigenous people, that way it was perceived historically significant clashes between the two perspectives, the state and the indigenous. The indigenous teacher training experience of social science enabled macuxi ethnicity makes us reflect on the importance of the social sciences as an area of knowledge objective that interdisciplinarizar discussions in the search to understand the functions, systems and corporate structures, relating to with differentiated, bilingual and intercultural education, which sees intellectual autonomy for possible political emancipation, adding the cognitive justice and the new possibilities of production of knowledge and learning in contemporary times, the results do reflect on the role of these social subjects across the education and the Amazon and Roraima challenges.
