O uso da modelagem matemática como proposta para a melhoria do ensino da Física na região Amazônica

Abstract

One of the greatest challenges of the teacher today is the search for the development of students ’capacity to learn and the way knowledge is constructed, that is, the students’ learning process is the object of investigation. Exposing contents, reproducing formulas and calculations in a way that is foreign to everyday applications almost always causes a lack of interest in the search for learning. This work aims to highlight mathematical modeling, as it is a basic skill because it has important applications in the contents of Physics applied in high school. There are several ways to approach content in a way that engages the interest and curiosity of the student. In this dissertation, practical activities are reported that allow the student to solve problems in a practical way, providing the contact and communication between students, stimulating learning and motivation, facilitating the understanding of the subjects of Physics.
