Resumo
The present study aims to analyze the marks of orality in the textual genre composition written by students in the 1st year of high school at the Federal Institute of Amazonas, located on the Manaus Campus in the East Zone and located in the Zumbi dos Palmares district. In addition to the general objective, the research intended: I) Record deviations from the spelling pattern from the categories postulated by Bortoni-Ricardo (2005); II) Identify the most predominant typological modality in the textual genre composition; III) Verify, in written productions, the occurrences of colloquial expressions, repetitions and/or anaphoras, clichés, slang, conversational markers, constructions of anacoluttos and/or unfinished sentences, modalizers and subjunctive verb forms; IV) investigate whether the sexual parameter (female and male) exerts influence with regard to the appropriation of orality traits in textual productions. The research is based on the Linguistic Variation studies proposed by Labov (2008 [1972]), in the studies of Marcuschi (2010), Bortoni-Ricardo (2005), Bagno (2007, 2015, 2017), Calvet (2002), Koch (2010), Castilho (1998) and Soares (2000). This study was carried out through the educational platform google meet during Portuguese language classes with the respective 1st year high school students. The parameters for analyzing the interference of orality in the students' essay-argumentative texts were: essay-argumentative textual typology, spelling deviations, colloquial occurrence, occurrence of anaphora or repetition, occurrences of clichés, occurrence of slang, occurrence of conversational marker, occurrence of ellipse, occurrence of anacoluto or unfinished sentences, occurrence of modifier and occurrence of subjunctive verb forms. The results show characteristic linguistic traits of orality in the students' written productions.
