Orientações multiprofissionais para pacientes em pós-operatório de cirurgia de revascularização do miocárdio

Resumo

Background: Cardiovascular diseases are the main causes of death in Brazil and in the world, mainly in low and middle income countries, with atheromatous coronary heart disease being the main etiology, but although published in the literature, preventive assessment scores, there is still a high rate of mortality from acute myocardial infarction. Among patients with atheromatous disease are those with lesions in one or multiple coronary vessels, especially those considered to be at high risk, indicated to undergo coronary artery bypass graft surgery. Atheromatous disease is complex, of chronic evolution and even those undergoing coronary artery bypass surgery, need to remain in treatment of this disease for the rest of their lives, but many leave the hospital without understanding the need to maintain specialized treatment, guided by a Multidisciplinary Team. General objective: To prepare a Manual with multidisciplinary guidelines for patients in the postoperative period of coronary artery bypass graft surgery at Francisca Mendes University Hospital in the city of Manaus-Amazonas. Specific objectives: Investigate scientific literature on the subject of myocardial revascularization, interact with a Multidisciplinary Team on strategies for post-operative myocardial revascularization guidelines and organize the selected content for the elaboration of a Manual. Method: This is a qualitative study of health research with the design thinking methodology and the use of the Brainstorming tool. Expected results: To contribute to the reduction of complications in the postoperative period of coronary artery bypass surgery with care guidelines prepared by a Multidisciplinary Team that seek to remove fear and insecurity, so that the patient rescues physical and mental well-being, improving quality of life and safe return to work activities. Reduction of hospital costs for preventable hospitalizations and promote an increase in the degree of understanding about the disease and greater adherence to outpatient follow-up.
