O PROEJA nos campi do IFAM da cidade de Manaus: um olhar sobre a trajetória da formação profissional.

Resumo
The Education for Youth and Adults ( EJA ) consists of a huge diversity of aspects that
compose it. Given this peculiar context and the deployment and implementation of the
National Programme for the Integration of Vocational Education in the Basic Education
on the gender of Education Youth and Adults ( PROEJA ) from 2006 , was raised
interest in this research intends to verify : What prospects the PROEJA has been
generating student’s demand for its courses on the campuses of the IFAM in Manaus ?
What is the vision of the PROEJA’s participating instructors, as well as the
management and coordination of the campuses of Manaus in relation to implementation
of the program? What are the contributions generated by PROEJA for the upliftment of
education in the public professionalization of EJA? For successful research, we sought
to develop a qualitative field research, which was based on a model of dialectical
analysis, focusing thereby on the identification of the various facets of the object by
means of a descriptive and exploratory approach, allowing the observation, recording,
analysis and correlation of facts or phenomena accurately in order to discover the
relationships between its components. Were used to collect information several
instruments: questionnaires, structured interviews, participant observation and
document analysis. Despite all the elements common to the public of the EJA, the
PROEJA has generated multiple perspectives on a number of individuals who, as
research reveals, has been reduced. Concerning the interpretation and teaching of
management about the program, even before the strong commitment of some of these,
the prevailing view is biased and prejudiced as a result of an educational establishment
elitist common to professional education institutions. Regarding the contributions
generated by PROEJA to increased schooling professionalization of young people and
adults, realized that occurs by crooked ways, not directly benefiting mostly the audience
initially proposed by the program, but effectively reaching the public EJA,
demonstrating that this demand continues dodging adversity hits them, persisting in the
rescue of his right to education, which was always so historically denied. It was
observed also that the implementation of this program has been extremely inconsistent
on land, so biased, pointing out that such government action has the priority concern the
improvement of educational statistics, seeking to participate in the global economic
supremacy. This attitude shows up clearly in the growing possibility of realizing the
PROEJA come to be implemented from the current year, by PRONATEC. In this way it
was intended to reveal the trajectory of vocational education offered by PROEJ’s path at
the IFAM campuses in the city of Manaus.
