Resumo
The theme that comprehend the teenager and the felony or offense triggers high scientific and
social interest, both for understanding the reasons which lead them in conflict with the law,
and for the strengthening of speeches that aim the accountability and culpability of them for
these high rates of violence. Considering the need to deepen knowledge about the
involvement of adolescents with law infraction and felonies, its continuity and discontinuity,
this study sought to understand from the life stories of young men proceeding from socioeducational
measures, such as how meanings attributed to the offense were built. The
theoretical-epistemological base guiding this work comprehend adolescence in a sociohistorical
perspective and the production of subjective meanings in the complexity intake. The
methodological approach that was used is of qualitative nature. A study case was
proceededfrom a semi-structured script using the analysis method of narrative perspective of
Rede de Significação - RedSig. As result, the meanings attributed were: Knowing the feeling/
Curiosity , Easy Money, Work, Which shouldn´t be known; Gangster´s Identity;
"Adrenaline", The loss of childhood; It´s only destruction; Providing drug use, Survival;
Risk; To put yourself in other people´s shoes; Rejection; This life is not for me; Death;
Example. The meanings of offense vary according to the experiences and interactional
contexts. The offense arises as a possible way at one point in their lives, not necessarily being
the only available path, which has been demonstrated over and along the context that
presented itself, and also appears as practice to be avoided, in the statement of other identities.
