Violência sexual contra crianças na idade pré-escolar: em foco a percepção de nove gestoras dos Centros Municipais de Educação Infantil da DDZ/leste II da cidade de Manaus/AM.

Resumo

Sexual violence is a topic that requires a unique look, dedication and study, as it still scares many people because it is considered taboo and generates prejudices about the theme.Thinking about it, the general objective of this study is to analyze how the work of Sexual Education is being (or not) under the perception of the managers regarding issues related to sexual violence against children in the context of Early Childhood Education, in the Municipal Centers of Early Childhood Education (CMEI ) from the city of Manaus / AM.To carry out this analysis, the research took place in nine CMEI of the District Division Zona Leste II / DDZ, together with their respective managers who agreed to collaborate with the research. We emphasize that the school as a space for the formation of citizens and the exchange of experiences, has a necessary function in relation to the realization of works on the theme presented in this research, aiming at better living conditions in the childhood phases and in a perspective that aims promoting the rights of the child. To corroborate with the research, the perception of the managers was sought, in order to collect through their praxis, how the methodologies are offered to face sexual violence and what obstacles are faced to work on the theme in the CMEI. However, this study argues that the school institution can be an ally for the prevention and confrontation against child sexual violence. This study is linked to research line 2: Education, Public Policy and Regional Development, of the Graduate Program in Education at the Federal University of Amazonas. We emphasize that this research is of a qualitative and exploratory nature, using the bibliographic, documentary and field method. The theoretical approach and analysis uses the considerations of Gender and Feminist Studies.With the research it was possible to conclude the need to give visibility to demonstrate the empowerment of children through the school spaceIn addition, we emphasize that, in order to protect children from sexual violence, it is essential that all individuals in the school work together, from understanding the nomenclatures that involve this violence to denouncing suspected abuse in relation to sexual rights of the students.Finally, we highlight the need for political strength in order to guarantee training on sexual violence to all Education workers, provide adequate materials and enable this discussion in their official documents.
