Resumo

This study aims bring visibility to events and conflicts situations occurred during historical situations of Omágua-Kambeba people invisibilization influenced by State presence and/or default, initially as background the conquest and colonization process of Amazonian territory, and, actually, development policies imposed to Brazilian Amazonian and the inherent (ir)rationality of natural goods exploitation. For that, it was used ethnographic tools based on polyphony and dialogicity necessary to approach through fields researches realized at Kambeba communities of Jandiatuba river, at São Paulo de Olivença, Amazonas state, Brazil. The ethnic group is in resistance and r-existence process for territories demarcation rights face of an artisanal gold mining presence who exploit gold at Jandiatuba river. Kambeba people also has a singular history in colonization project operated by Iberian State, in seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, and was strongly persecuted and invisiblised. Reflection of this is inexistence of indigenous territory Kambeba demarcated in Alto Solimões border region, “crib” of its origin, which stimulate your current struggle as a guarantee of recognition and security ethnic-territorial against artisanal gold miners outsiders.
