Resumo
The study of Ethnobotany, today, is considered as the result of many historical changes. This Science guarantees solid knowledge about the relationship between man and plants, and these with anthropic actions. Thus, the objective of this research is to describe the recovery, use and maintenance of medicinal plants in the Cristolândia Community, as well as to obtain information on therapeutic indications, parts used and ways of preparing medicines from medicinal plants. This study was based on interviews with semi-structured questions with the residents of that community, who basically use plants for the treatment, relief and / or cure of diseases. Periodic visits were made to the community to learn more about medicinal plants in order to facilitate collection and identification. Subsequently, for the analysis of the data of each variable, it was done through descriptive statistics, performing the tabulation and organization of these in a spreadsheet of the Excel version 2016 program. people showed their knowledge about the use of medicinal plants to treat diseases, that is, a very important aspect to achieve the objectives of the project. Consequently, the study helped to discover many medicinal plant species used in the healing process by the popular, such as boldo, mastruz, terramicina, lemon balm and mint.
